The Best Day Ever...well so far at least!

Sunday, June 17:

After waking up, eating yummy breakfast, and taking the best power yoga class ever a bunch of us headed over to Regent's Park to enjoy a rare beautiful day. The weather and my ability to wear shorts for the first time since being in Londontown without being absolutely freezing was one of the many reasons this day was my fav. BUT most of all it was my fav because REGENT'S PARK IS AWESOME! Aside from it being just an absolute beautiful park with a nice lake/pond thing, it houses Queen Mary's Rose Garden. The garden was divine! Each different type of rose had a clever little name like Sexy Rexy, Keep Smiling, Ice Cream, etc! The best part was smelling them, I'm pretty sure my nostrils have graced nearly half of the flowers in her garden (and thats a lot of flowers). AND we got to carry around some yummy ice cream from a cute little coffee/dairy shop in the middle of the park.

Once we had mosied around for an hour or two it was time for a picnic in the park. Only problem, we didn't have food! Luckily a few of us took the most roundabout way, getting lost a few times near Baker Street (which turned out to be super cool), and got cheese, wine, fruit, meat, bread, and crackers and headed back to the park! It was perfect! We hung out there for a few more hours and then bopped by the Sherlock Holmes museum before going back to the dorms!

That night I had homework to do. Woof! Who knew when you studied abroad you actually had to study! JK. I got to research and write a little something for the group on the performance we were seeing on Monday, which just so happened to be PINA BAUSCH. If you don't know who she is, look her up! She's such an icon in dance - if you care!

They put crowns on everything!

Its the British flag made out of flowers!

Cutest little coffee and ice cream shop.

Pictures don't do the rose gardens justice.

Just hangin in some roses with Marissa.

I love London :)

Regent's Park!

Wine and cheese please!

London just keeps on getting better and better, I don't know how its possible but I hope it continues! Until next time.

Cheers
